Hidden Gem Steakhouse in DC NoMa - St. Anselm

I’m here to recommend a steakhouse located in Union Market. The place is easy to find, with a wooden-themed decor and dim lighting, making it a great spot for gatherings with friends or romantic dates. 🥳 The Union Market itself is a place brimming with a chic vibe, blending modernist chic with the boldness of street graffiti art. If you have the time, it’s worth taking a stroll around. 🎨 As for the restaurant, the grilled oysters 🦪 and salmon collar 🐟 are both good choices, with very fresh ingredients. We went for the ribeye steak 🥩, cooked to a perfect medium rare, which I’d rate 8/10. The meat was evenly textured and delicious, though I deducted points for the slightly burnt fat. If you’re in a group, you might want to try the T-bone or tomahawk steaks, which look mouthwatering. 🤤 For sides, we had the mashed potatoes 🥔🥔🥔, which I’d choose as the best dish of the night. They were incredibly delicious, with a rich taste, smooth texture, and a greasy aroma. The baked surface offered a delightful contrast to the creamy potato inside – highly recommended. 💗💗💗 Just a small heads up, the seasoning at this place can be a bit on the salty side. 🧂🧂🧂 #steak #HiddenGems #Steakhouse #DMVFoodie #WashingtonDCFood #NoMa #FoodandFun #Steakhouse
