Hobart Port Arthur No-Plan Special Forces One-Day Tour
Landed in Hobart at 10 AM 🛬 and went straight into power-walk mode! ⏰ Timeline: • 10:00 – Arrived in Hobart • 11:00 – Picked up rental car → drove straight to Port Arthur • 13:25 – Joined the Cape Raoul 1.5-hour scenic cruise (booked last minute before my flight!) 🎫 I chose the Cape Raoul Cruises + Port Arthur Historic Site combo ticket – $350 for two people. 📍 Their dock is right inside the historic site – just navigate to Port Arthur Historic Site. There was also a 3-hour cruise, but it was sold out. Turned out to be a blessing – my mom got super seasick even with meds 😅 If you’re prone to motion sickness, tell the crew in advance! But the cruise itself? ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED 💯 We got lucky – spotted a colony of seals 🦭 sunbathing on rocks and diving into the sea! On the return trip, we encountered a whole pod of dolphins 🐬 – saved us a separate dolphin-watching trip! After the cruise, we explored the historic prison ruins – haunting and fascinating (didn’t take many photos though). Got back to Hobart around 6 PM – wrapped up a packed but epic day! 🏃♀️✨ #Hobart #PortArthur #TasmaniaTravel #RoadTripTassie #SealCruise #DolphinWatching #TravelDiary #StudyAbroadLife #ExploreTasmania
