Hobart Port Arthur No-Plan Special Forces One-Day Tour
Landed in Hobart at 10 AM ๐ฌ and went straight into power-walk mode! โฐ Timeline: โข 10:00 โ Arrived in Hobart โข 11:00 โ Picked up rental car โ drove straight to Port Arthur โข 13:25 โ Joined the Cape Raoul 1.5-hour scenic cruise (booked last minute before my flight!) ๐ซ I chose the Cape Raoul Cruises + Port Arthur Historic Site combo ticket โ $350 for two people. ๐ Their dock is right inside the historic site โ just navigate to Port Arthur Historic Site. There was also a 3-hour cruise, but it was sold out. Turned out to be a blessing โ my mom got super seasick even with meds ๐ If youโre prone to motion sickness, tell the crew in advance! But the cruise itself? ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED ๐ฏ We got lucky โ spotted a colony of seals ๐ฆญ sunbathing on rocks and diving into the sea! On the return trip, we encountered a whole pod of dolphins ๐ฌ โ saved us a separate dolphin-watching trip! After the cruise, we explored the historic prison ruins โ haunting and fascinating (didnโt take many photos though). Got back to Hobart around 6 PM โ wrapped up a packed but epic day! ๐โโ๏ธโจ #Hobart #PortArthur #TasmaniaTravel #RoadTripTassie #SealCruise #DolphinWatching #TravelDiary #StudyAbroadLife #ExploreTasmania
