Took a trip to Tassie over the Easter break — here’s a quick recap of the vibes 👇 🦥 Maria Island | Wombat Paradise + Light Hiking Wombats everywhere! So cute — had to walk carefully not to disturb them 🥹 Super healing natural scenery — perfect for nature lovers 🌿 Recommended to hike the northern loop counterclockwise for better views! Two easy circuits — each can be finished within 4 hours. Relaxed and fun 🥾💚 🏡 Richmond | Slow Village Vibes A classic countryside town — ideal for chilling and sipping coffee ☕️ Pretty quiet though — don’t expect wild attractions or activities. Great for those who love lazy, small-town energy 📸 🏖 Wineglass Bay | A Little Hiking Challenge The shortest trail (~1.5 hrs return) only takes you to the lookout — view is just okay, doesn’t fully capture the "wineglass" shape 🍷 Might be better if you hike down to the beach — if you have time! 🚤 Tasman Island Cruises (Port Arthur) | HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ‼️ My favorite part of the whole trip! 3-hour speedboat tour — with motion sickness pills, it’s totally fine (I get car sick sometimes, but was completely okay 😉) Saw seals and dolphins 🦭🐬 — lucky ones might even spot penguins or whales! 🐧🐋 The coastal cliffs + temperate rainforest = absolutely epic!
