Houston | A Romantic French Dining Experience 🥂

🌸 Ambiance: This restaurant offers a fusion of French and New American cuisine. The environment isn't overly opulent, but the lighting, decor, and service are all very well done. There doesn't seem to be a strict dress code, but the general vibe is business casual for men and dresses for women. 🌸 Dishes: Black Truffle Wellington Steak: A winter special. The steak is of exceptional quality, with the puff pastry and black truffle adding rich layers of flavor. Sea Urchin Pasta: Rich and flavorful. However, my dining companion commented, "Why isn't it as good as the pasta you make?" I guess sometimes you can't please everyone. 🌟Lobster Bisque: Generous in portion, with very fresh lobster meat. Even my family member who usually doesn't love Western cuisine enjoyed it. Foie Gras: Tender and perfectly cooked, with excellent accompaniments that make it rich yet not greasy. The bread served before the meal is very buttery and sets a great start to the dining experience. 🌟Octopus: The first course featured roasted, chewy octopus with a slightly tangy sauce that was very appetizing. This was followed by the sea urchin pasta, which was as expected. 🌟For the main course, I chose Dry-Aged Duck, which was incredibly succulent. The sweet and tangy sauce perfectly balanced the richness of the duck, making it enjoyable even for those with smaller appetites. 🌟The dessert was Lobster Chicken Pot Pie, but I was too full to try it. From what I could see, it was just passable. The puff pastry was impressive, but the soup was a bit salty, and the lobster, being heavily seasoned, didn't reveal whether it was fresh or frozen. #HoustonFood #HoustonDining #HoustonLife
