Houston | A Vietnamese Restaurant This Beautiful?
🌟I used to think of Vietnamese restaurants as fast-food joints with pho and spring rolls. But after visiting this Vietnamese-French fusion restaurant, my perception has completely changed. It’s just stunning—romantic and artistically retro, with a French touch. The food was decent, but the ambiance and decor deserve a full score. 🌟The restaurant has two floors, each with its own unique views. Even the restrooms, stair corners, and entrance are beautifully designed—perfect for photos. We booked a table for 6 p.m. on a Sunday evening, and the place was quite busy. When we arrived, the hostess asked where we’d like to sit and let us choose. I loved that! After checking out both floors, I decided to sit on the second-floor balcony. 🌟I didn’t order the usual Vietnamese dishes like spring rolls or pho. Instead, I tried the glazed pork ribs, which tasted a bit like sweet and sour pork ribs. The green shrimp curry was similar in style and flavor to Thai cuisine. The lamb shank was amazing—tender and falling off the bone, with great seasoning. The accompanying potato pancake soaked in the lamb broth was delicious. I also tried the roasted duck, which the menu said was for two, but I didn’t find the portion very large. Based on recommendations, I ordered it, but it wasn’t very good. The duck meat was tough, especially the legs, which were hard to chew. It didn’t seem juicy or freshly roasted. Overall, it was just okay. 🌟The photos from their place are just too beautiful! I mean, taking pictures > eating; the food isn't that important! After the meal, the waiter even gave me a tulip. 🌷 I was so happy and took photos with it! #StudyingInUSA #LifeInUSA #Houston #VietnameseCuisine #DateNightRestaurant
