Houston | Galveston Seafood Restaurant Review 🦞🚫

Katie’s Seafood House is one of the most well-known restaurants in Galveston — so popular that you need reservations to avoid long waits! ⏳😮 But honestly… I was pretty disappointed with the seafood here. 😔 The oysters (even in June!) were shockingly small — barely the size of a thumbnail 🦪👎 Most of the seafood options are fried, and nothing tasted particularly fresh 🍤❌ The overall quality made me suddenly miss New Orleans even more! 😂🍛 While Galveston doesn’t have tons of seafood choices, Katie’s is still an option — but I’d recommend choosing carefully and keeping expectations in check. 🧐 You might want to try their grilled items or ask about the daily catch instead of going for the fried plates.
