Houston | Max's | Filipino Restaurant

Max's Restaurant Houston, Cuisine of the Philippines Next to Jollibee, there’s a Filipino 🇵🇭 restaurant that I’ve been meaning to try. During their anniversary sale, they had a special on fried chicken🍗, but it was so popular that I missed out. Last weekend, I noticed they had a special on desserts and decided to finally try their famous fried chicken🍗 to see what all the fuss is about! 🍽️ Dining Experience Max's Fried Chicken🍗: The signature dish is definitely worth a try! The chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a slightly garlicky flavor. The banana ketchup adds a unique twist. You can order half a chicken if you just want to taste it. CHICHARON BULAKLAK🐷: Fried pork mesentery, with a texture similar to pork cracklings. Served with a tangy dipping sauce (vinegar + chili 🌶️ + onion🧅), it’s incredibly satisfying (though you might want to ignore the calories). I recommend ordering this when you’re with a group; it can get a bit overwhelming if you eat too much at once. 🌟 Chicken Sisig (Sizzling Diced Chicken): Fried chicken 🍗 cut into small pieces, mixed with onions🧅, and evenly coated with a sauce made of mayonnaise + lemon🍋‍🟩 juice + chili 🌶️ (similar to Calamansi Mayo). The flavor is quite good, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you eat too much. #LoudlyRecommendLocalFood #HoustonWeekendCouples #HoustonRestaurantReview #FriedChicken #PorkRinds
