Houston | One-Michelin-Starred Restaurant
🌹A Spanish 🇪🇸 restaurant, overall it was pretty good and I would recommend it. The dishes were all quite nice. The signature gin & tonic, highly recommended by the manager, was just okay. Of course, my standards might be higher after visiting Doko Bar last week. But I really enjoyed the main course I ordered, Bomba rice.🌹 🍫 The amuse-bouche and the chocolate 🍫 were complimentary, which was a nice surprise. Interestingly, their still water was the same brand I had during my trip to Spain—they really paid attention to the details. The off-menu calamari was a bit odd—it wasn’t fried, and the squid was served whole with the internal shell still in, so you had to spit it out. Does anyone know the technique and reasoning behind this dish?🍫 🌹The restaurant was a bit noisy, and unfortunately, the Vietnamese couple next to us had two kids who were very talkative even during the meal. The dress code is business casual, but the guy at the table next to us was wearing a tracksuit with basketball shorts. It’s just so Houston. 🎀If you arrive early, you can park on the street; otherwise, valet parking is available. The reservation fee is $50 per person, and there will be a charge if you don’t show up. #Houston #HoustonLife #Houston #Michelin #MichelinRestaurant
