Houston | Steakhouse | Taste of Texas 🥩
This place has been on my list for ages! While I knew steaks in Texas or New York wouldn’t differ too much in quality, I still wanted to check out this iconic non-chain spot. 📝 Here’s a quick rundown — menu is in the last slide! Every steak comes with a build-your-own salad bar, fresh bread 🥖, and one side. We went for the 25oz ribeye, hand-cut right in front of us — the server took us to the kitchen to pick it out! When in Texas, right? 😉 🍞 Bread Review: Yeast Roll: Not as good as Texas Roadhouse’s — a bit too fluffy for my taste. Cheese Roll: 🔥 PERFECTION! So flavorful, I devoured two before the meal! (While waiting, I noticed lots of people getting takeout — maybe they filled up on bread too? 😂) 🥗 Salad Bar: Fresh greens and fruits — solid, but let’s be real, we’re here for the steak! 🥩 The Star — Ribeye: Dry-aged for 30-40 days. Our cut was large, and though I wanted it served whole, the server suggested butterflying it — and she was right! Cooked a perfect medium-rare 🔥. Incredibly tender, with just a bit of sinew (nothing major). So juicy, so flavorful — absolutely worth it! 💵 Price: ~$100 per person 📍 Address: 10505 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77024 A true Houston steak experience — highly recommend for special occasions or when you’re just really, really hungry! 😋 #HoustonEats #HoustonLife #HoustonFood #SteakLover #TexasSteakhouse #FoodDiary #HoustonDining #TasteOfTexas
