Houston | Thompson Houston Rooftop Pool is Absolutely Stunning!
Came to Houston for a visa appointment and stayed at the Thompson Houston with my little one for a couple of nights. Booked with 20k points per night β and without any special requests, we got a slight room upgrade! Hereβs the honest take: β The Good: β¨ Rooftop Pool β Heated to a perfect 90Β°F, clean water, and no strong chlorine smell (as expected from a luxury hotel!). Open from 7 AM to 10 PM, with complimentary ice water served poolside. β¨ Flooring β Beautiful and clean! So glad itβs not carpet β feels so much fresher. β¨ Bed & Linens β Super comfortable bed with high-quality sheets. β¨ Skyline Views β Gorgeous, especially from higher floors! β¨ New Hotel β No weird smells in the room β everything feels fresh and modern. β¨ Water Station β Complimentary water bars on each floor β love not having to constantly buy plastic bottles! β The Not-So-Good: π ΏοΈ Valet Parking Only β A bit steep at $60 per day. π Lobby on 7th Floor β A little confusing to find at first. 𧳠Standard Room Size β On the smaller side. π½οΈ Limited Dining Nearby β Not many restaurant options in the immediate area. π¨βπ³ On-Site Restaurant Push β Staff kept recommending their in-house spot, but it seemed like standard American fare β nothing special. Overall, the rooftop pool totally made the stay β might just come back for that alone! πββοΈπ Thompson Houston, by Hyatt π 1717 Allen Pkwy, Houston, TX 77019 #HoustonHotels #ThompsonHouston #LuxuryStay #RooftopPool #FamilyTravel #HyattHotels #HoustonTravel #HotelReview
