Houston | Xochi Mexican Restaurant - Brunch Buffet
⭕️For Easter, we had booked this Mexican restaurant for brunch weeks in advance. With nearly 4,000 reviews and a 4.6-star rating on Google, it seemed like a safe bet. ⭕️I chose this place mainly for the mini conchas—they looked so adorable, and as it turned out, they tasted great too. The buffet offers a variety of small desserts and Mexican dishes. My favorite was the pork chop—it was incredibly tender and smooth, practically melting in your mouth. I highly recommend it. Since it was an Easter special, the restaurant was decorated with colorful eggs hidden in various corners, filled with candy, which added a nice festive touch. 🌟They also have a regular Sunday brunch buffet for $45 per person. The Halloween brunch buffet was listed at $55 per person, but with all the additional fees, we ended up paying $75 per person. It’s definitely not worth it in terms of getting your money’s worth, but the experience was still enjoyable. 🌟The crudos were pretty standard, but I was a bit put off by the flying ants. I just ordered something simple to calm my nerves. It came with plantain chips. No matter how many restaurants I’ve been to, I just can’t get over how hard plantain chips are—I really don’t like them.
