Houston Capybara Cuddles Alert! 🐹
Houston has capybaras to cuddle with, and it’s the best mood booster ever! 🌟 This week, I made a special trip to the Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve. It’s not a huge zoo, but it’s filled with so many adorable, interactive animals. Most of the small animals can be interacted with, and while some activities are free, others require purchasing credits. It’s such a unique experience! In traditional zoos, you can only watch from a distance, but here, you can actually pet and feed the animals. Of course, there are times when the animals just want to sleep and ignore you, but that’s part of the fun! 😄 The more credits you buy, the better the deal. For example, $10 gets you 100 credits, but $50 gets you 650 credits (that’s $50 + 150 free). Different animals require different amounts of credits to interact with: birds are 30 credits, capybaras are 60, kangaroos are 60, lemurs are 120, penguins are 180, and sloths are the priciest at 600 credits. It’s been super hot lately, so I’d recommend waiting for cooler weather before visiting. Unlike us, who had to leave early because we were melting, you’ll want to make the most of your credits and interactions! 🌤️ The admission is $29.95 per adult, but they offer an annual pass for $69.95. The annual pass allows you to bring one friend in for free twice a year, and after those two times, your friend can still get in at half price. I think the annual pass is a great deal, so we went ahead and bought it! 🎫 🐒 Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve 🚗 5440 N Sam Houston Pkwy E, Humble, TX 77396 #Houston #HoustonLife #HoustonFun #CapybaraCuddles #HoustonWeekend #FamilyOuting
