Houston Food Review | ⭐ Michelin-Starred La Jardinier (MFAH Location)
This elegant French restaurant (also in NYC/Miami) earned its first Michelin star in Houston last year. I'd previously visited for anniversary cocktails pre-star - this was my first dining experience post-recognition. The chef has brought his lush and elegant cooking style to Houston, and the restaurant’s location, right next to the museum, complements the vibrant dishes perfectly. The sauces here are exquisitely crafted, with seasonal vegetables and thoughtfully paired cocktails that together tell a culinary story that echoes the name of the restaurant. Standout Dishes: 🐟 Fish Course - Absolute perfection. Every bite delivered complex, harmonious flavors that made me wish my parents could taste it too. 🦆 Duck Steak - Not my personal preference (I favor confit), though my French husband declared it magnificent. Classic case of "not for me but objectively good"! 🍰 Dessert Trio - Couldn't resist ordering three - zero regrets! Seasonal Magic: 🍂 Currently serving winter menu (spring edition coming soon!) 📍 At Houston Museum of Fine Arts #HTXFineDining #MichelinStar #FrenchCuisine #ArtAndFood #HoustonLife
