Houston Has Such a Beautiful Seaside Too! 🏝️

Okay, actually it’s Galveston 😉 🌅 The sunset was absolutely stunning! We originally planned to drive from Point A to Point B for the best view, but the sunset started before we could make it all the way 🚗💨 So we found a turnoff around Mile 9 and discovered a spot where you can drive right up to the beach! It was much closer than going all the way to A or B (though still a bit of a drive, not gonna lie✨). The sky was soft pink — so pretty! And barely anyone was there 🙌❗ 🚢 We also tried a ferry that takes cars across to a small island — seemed fun and novel! But honestly… the island was pretty empty 🥲 Barren, and the beach was kinda dirty. It felt like a sleepy coastal town (?) with not much to see or do — just a few small shops that didn’t really stand out. There was a water park mentioned, but it was basically just for little kids 👶💦 Not much for adults or older visitors.
