This izakaya is more delicious than I imagined, with great quality dishes and high value for money. Highly recommended! Takoyaki (Octopus Balls) ππππ Crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside, with plenty of octopus pieces. The seasoning is just right, making it a very enjoyable dish overall! Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) ππ Crispy and tender, but a bit on the salty side. Katsu Don (Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl) πππ A rice bowl topped with Pork Katsu, Onion, Dashi, Egg, and Green Onion. The rice absorbs the flavorful broth, and the pork cutlet remains crispy while the meat is very tender. Definitely worth a try! Unagi Hitsumabushi (Nagoya-Style Grilled Eel) πππππ Unagi Hitsumabushi is a specialty eel dish from Nagoya, Japan. The eel is abundant, soft, and flavorful, with a rich and non-greasy eel sauce. It comes with scallions, wasabi, nori, and hot Dashi broth. Each of the three ways to enjoy it has its own unique flavor. This dish is quite rare in Houston, and I highly recommend giving it a try! Yuzu Cheese Cake ππππ & Matcha Chestnut Cake πππ The Yuzu Cheese Cake is refreshing with a very noticeable yuzu aroma.
