Houston Must-Visit: Michelin Star Restaurant Miya
During my stay in Houston, I visited three Michelin-starred restaurants, and this Indian restaurant was the most impressive. The chef has traveled extensively throughout India, gathering culinary inspirations and sharing them through a course menu. ๐ฐ Average Cost per Person: $200 โ Aloo Gobhi Tart: Extremely delicious and unique, with a distinct exotic flavor profile. โ Achapam: This is an elevated version of an Indian street snack. The chef uses the same molds to create it on-site, and itโs incredibly crispy with each bite. โ Shishito Pepper: The peppers are not spicy at all, and they pair wonderfully with caviar for a delightful taste. โ Ceviche: The crunch of the beans combined with the creamy sauce and tender fish creates a rich, layered experience with very unique seasonings. โ Onion Pakoda: The combination of onions and edible activated charcoal is crispy on the outside, with Indian-spiced mashed potatoes on the inside, and itโs topped with truffle for an intense flavor. โ Masala Papad: Freshly marinated tuna is very flavorful, served with crispy Indian papadums for a delicious combination. โ Cirus Sorbet: A palate-cleansing dessert with a strong orange flavor. โ Barrah Kebab: The lamb chops are marinated to perfection, with no gamey taste and extremely tender meat. โ Jhol Momo: The Indian dumplings were a bit underwhelming compared to the delicious dumplings back home. โ 65: Originally a street snack, it has a great taste. โ Malabari Fish Curry: The fish is very tender and pairs perfectly with the dosa pancakes. Eating them together is incredibly satisfying. โ Butter Chicken Experience: We ordered this as a main course, and it was decent, though slightly less flavorful than some of the curries Iโve had before. โ Ras Malai: This dessert is a perfect bite of Indian exotic flavors. โ Til Besan Ladoo: Delicious and full of flavor. #FoodieHeaven #IndianCuisine #Michelin #Houston #RestaurantRecommendation #USA #GourmetFood
