Houston Weekend Delight: Persian Cuisine at Rumi’s Kitchen ❤️
I had heard mixed reviews, but this Persian restaurant turned out to be absolutely amazing! I discovered Rumi’s through notes shared by other Houston foodies, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Not only is the food delicious, but the ambiance is beautiful, the portions are satisfying, and the prices are quite reasonable. I highly recommend it! We visited on a weekend afternoon and opted for the regular menu instead of brunch. 🍜Labne Charred Tomato: The cheese is incredible! I’m usually not a fan of cheese, but this one is truly delicious. The tomatoes are also fantastic. Roasted Cremini & Oyster Mushroom Hummus: This dish is a must-try! I ordered it based on recommendations from other bloggers and the server’s assurance that it’s their most popular dish. It’s definitely a winner! 🍜Mirza Ghasemi: The eggplant and tomato sauce is rich and flavorful, and it pairs perfectly with the flatbread. Lamb Shank: The braised lamb shank is tender and flavorful, served with rice that soaks up all the delicious sauce. This is definitely a place I’ll be returning to. The parking garage is a huge plus, with free self-parking available. The decor is also very photogenic, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. 📍 Rumi’s Kitchen 1801 Post Oak Blvd Suite 120, Houston, TX 77056 #100RestaurantsChallenge #Houston #HoustonFood #HoustonRestaurantReview #HiddenGem #LocalFoodRecommendation
