Houston Weekend Spot: Jurassic World Immersive Exhibit Arrives! 🎉

Houston’s latest weekend hotspot is here—a one-to-one, life-size recreation of the Jurassic movie scenes 🎬, where you can get up close and personal with dinosaurs 🦖🦕! We entered at 6 p.m. on a Sunday, and it was packed, especially with excited kids! There were even two kids celebrating their birthdays, and the staff sang “Happy Birthday” to them. They also got priority access to some of the immersive experiences. This place is truly a kids’ paradise! However, I suggest visiting on weekdays for an even better experience. When it’s too crowded, you’ll be constantly waiting in line, even for photos 📷 and experiences. 😭 From the moment you enter, the immersive experience begins. The staff performances are amazing. We first boarded a ferry 🚢, and as soon as we disembarked, we were greeted by the iconic Jurassic Park gate—it’s incredibly impressive, almost identical to what you see at Universal Studios! The biggest surprise was touching dinosaur poop (I thought it would be soft, but it’s actually a bit hard and not gross at all since you’re wearing gloves). We also got to see dinosaur eggs and baby dinosaurs, and there’s a very realistic simulated escape segment—it’s super lifelike! Some tips: 1️⃣ Avoid peak weekend hours, as the crowds can diminish the experience. 2️⃣ You can bring water in, but make sure it has a lid. I brought a bottle of mineral water. 3️⃣ Buy tickets in advance on Ticketmaster. There are shows every half hour from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Choose your preferred time slot and arrive a bit early. Storing your ticket in Apple Wallet is super convenient. 4️⃣ The entire experience lasts 50 minutes and is guided tours only—no going back. Follow the staff and keep moving forward. Remember to use the restroom before it starts. Tickets are $40 for adults, and parking is free 🚘. 📍 Jurassic World: The Exhibition #WhereToGoOnWeekends #Houston #HoustonLife #JurassicWorld #JurassicPark #HoustonFun #FamilyFriendly #WeekendWithKids #Exhibition #ImmersiveExperience #NotebookInspiration #TravelBits
