How can one place be so good at cooking chicken?! ππ₯
Food Exploration Plan: 8/100 π€© This time, itβs a cozy Japanese charcoal-grilled chicken spot! The vibe is totally authentic, like a small shop in Japan β the chef grills the chicken right in front of you over charcoal! πβ¨ β Torisoba Sumiya π± Itβs located near Sawtelle (LAβs Little Osaka), right across from Nijiya Market. We tried their signature Japanese BBQ Chicken Ramen β the chicken had that amazing charcoal-grilled aroma and was incredibly tender! The noodles and broth were super fragrant, probably made with rich chicken stock. That first bite was mind-blowing! ππ We ordered the Combo: one bowl of noodles + a small rice bowl π For the rice bowl, we chose the Small Fried Chicken with Tartar Sauce β since I love tartar sauce, this was the perfect pick! The chicken was juicy and tender, and paired with the tartar sauce, it was delicious! The small size only comes with 3-4 pieces of chicken, though. π’ We sat where we could watch the chef cook β seeing the charcoal-grilling process was really fun! π¨π³π π Address: 11301 W Olympic Blvd #101, Los Angeles, CA 90064 Whatβs your favorite Japanese comfort food spot?
