How Good Is Bavel in LA Really? π΄ | An Honest Review!
Iβve been wanting to try Bavel for a while, but as a last-minute decision, itβs always fully booked. This time, I made a reservation on Monday for Friday night β and the only slot left was 8:30 PM! π Tip: If you want to try this place, book way in advance! Bavel serves Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and the flavors absolutely delivered. π Chicken Liver PΓ’tΓ© As someone who enjoys liver, I loved this β so smooth and rich, with a deep chicken liver aroma. Served with sesame buckwheat bread β a perfect match! β οΈ If youβre not into liver, maybe skip this one. But if you are β itβs a must-try! π Oyster Mushroom Kebab We both agreed β this was the star of the night! The grilled mushrooms had a meaty texture and were coated in a savory sauce. Paired with avocado sauce at the bottom β surprisingly harmonious. Highly recommend! π Pomegranate Glazed Oxtail Tagine Another standout! The oxtail was fall-apart tender with a savory-sweet glaze. Served with rice mixed with crunchy bits and pine nuts β so flavorful and textured. We only found it a bit heavy toward the end, but still incredible. π Strawberry Sumac & Sweet Cheese Pastry We meant to order cheesecake but got this by accident (menu might have changed β read carefully!). It was a strawberry jam pastry with ice cream β tasty, but not what we craved. The vibe was lively and warm β you could hear the buzz of happy diners even before entering. I love a bustling dining room β it felt so inviting. We sat by the window with a gentle breeze β the perfect Friday night vibe π π Bavel 500 Mateo St #102, Los Angeles, CA 90013 A flavorful, vibrant, and memorable experience β definitely worth the early booking! #BavelLA #LAEats #MediterraneanFood #FineDining #DateNightSpot #FoodReview #MustTry
