Went to Irvine for food over the weekend and spotted this dessert shop Chewie & Mellow in the same plaza. Walked in and — wow — the Instagrammable wall instantly caught our eyes! My friends pulled me over for a quick photo op 📸 We ordered a few items randomly, but one bite in and we were totally blown away!😊💕 Honestly, their Taro Purple Sweet Potato Double-Layer Milk Pudding might be the best I’ve ever had. The taro texture blended so smoothly with the silky pudding, and the milky flavor was so pure — absolutely incredible with every spoonful! The Mango Pomelo Sago version was also amazing. Feels like their double-layer pudding series is definitely the star here — because you really can’t stop eating it! We also tried the Taro Ball Pandan Bowl — loaded with goodies like taro balls, purple sweet potato, pudding, and red beans. Overall, we were all pleasantly surprised!
