Chewie & Mellow 啾咪甜品 — Restaurant in Irvine

I happen to stumble upon this place when I was looking for boba places to go to after an Excursion in Irvine area. The place is super cute and there's a lot of things going on that is Picture Perfect in the store. I would say come here with your friends if you want to take pictures. In terms of the drinks and desserts, I did by a mango coconut drink and a taro pandan dessert. I personally enjoyed the mango coconut drink since it was fresh and I could taste both the mango and coconut clearly. In terms of the pandan dessert, I got it for my mom and she said she wasn't a big fan. I would have liked to try it for myself, but maybe next time I come I would see how it is. Kind of reminds me of a meat fresh or sweet dessert fruit, chewy mochi Fusion that you can find now trending in Asian communities. Super cute place and only 10 minutes drive from UCI campus. The store is super cute and aesthetic with literally a whole wall full of blind box figures and plushies. They offer a great variety of drinks, dessert bowls, and milk pudding. I personally would recommend the red bean milk pudding, a classic Hong Kong styled dessert recipe and super delicious! We also got a peach plum slush and strawberry hawthorn crush, both tasted great and the store was very generous with toppings as well. Either 50% or 30% sweetened level...

Chewie & Mellow in Irvine is literally decked out to the NINES and their branding is on point. the tofu pudding in the sweet tofu mango drink was so silky & mango-y, and the dark cherry slush that came highly recommended by the staff was OH SO good. And it automatically comes with tea jelly + konjac jelly!

I’m a sucker for anything taro, and their sweet purple bliss bowl is a literal bucket of happiness.
