It's the largest art gallery I've visited in California, and this library also includes various art museums and botanical gardens. You can't see everything in a day, so if you live nearby, it's worth buying an annual pass to visit at your leisure š š³ The botanical garden features 16 themed gardens: Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, California Garden, Rose Garden, Garden Sculpture and Fountain, Shakespeare Garden, Australian Garden, Camellia Garden, Children's Garden, Conservatory Garden, Desert Garden, Herb Garden, Jungle Garden, Lily Pond, Palm Garden, Subtropical Garden, and Ranch Garden (temporarily closed). šļø The museum includes art collections from Asia, Europe, and the United States. š«: There are discounts for students with an ID card. The difference between a Student and College Card is that one is valid only on the purchased date, while the other allows visits on any day within a year. ā ļø They also have free admission days: The first Thursday of each month is free, but you need to secure your tickets on the last Thursday of the previous month at 9 am.
