Hyatt House Washington DC / The Wharf

A hotel in an absolutely fantastic location! 🏙️ The rooms are simple and business-friendly – some even come with a basic kitchenette or at least a microwave. 🍳➡️🏨 Just across a small path outside is the waterfront – perfect for a relaxing walk during the day or in the evening. The vibe is super chill, and there are plenty of cozy restaurants and wine bars along the main street. It’s an area I personally really love! 😊 Plus, it’s only about a 15-minute walk to many of DC’s museums, the White House, and other major spots! 🚶♀️🏛️ This time, we were even lucky enough to catch a bit of fireworks at night 🎆, and the famous Washington cherry blossoms were blooming nearby too! 🌸 I’d definitely love to stay a few more nights next time!
