Iโd Drive 50 Minutes for Detroitโs Sushi Hana โ And I Do ๐
This spot is about a 50-minute drive from Ann Arbor, not far from Somerset Collection ๐๏ธ (perfect for shopping, then eating!). Itโs the kind of place you just feel like driving to on a whim, because everything is so fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a cozy izakaya vibe ๐ฎ! We usually order their sushi platter and sashimi platter โ the fish quality is top-notch, each slice thick, clean, and sweet, not fishy at all ๐ฃโจ. The flavors are pure and vibrant โ definitely their strongest offering. Their unagi rice bowl, tonkatsu, and cold noodles are also really good ๐ฑ๐. This time we arrived at 5:30 p.m. and still waited about 30 minutes โ the place is always packed, but tables turn over quickly. Service is friendly and efficient. Iโm usually too busy eating to take nice photos (most of my pics are half-eaten and blurry ๐ ), but this time I finally managed a few decent shots ๐ธ. ๐ฐ Price per person: Around $30โ70 For the freshness and portion size, itโs totally worth it. #SushiHana #Detroit #AnnArborFood #DetroitFood #AnnArborLife #DetroitLife #ImmersiveJapaneseFood #StudentEats #AnnArborExploration #UniversityOfMichigan ๐
