Iโ€™d Drive 50 Minutes for Detroitโ€™s Sushi Hana โ€” And I Do ๐Ÿ˜‹

This spot is about a 50-minute drive from Ann Arbor, not far from Somerset Collection ๐Ÿ›๏ธ (perfect for shopping, then eating!). Itโ€™s the kind of place you just feel like driving to on a whim, because everything is so fresh and delicious. The restaurant has a cozy izakaya vibe ๐Ÿฎ! We usually order their sushi platter and sashimi platter โ€” the fish quality is top-notch, each slice thick, clean, and sweet, not fishy at all ๐Ÿฃโœจ. The flavors are pure and vibrant โ€” definitely their strongest offering. Their unagi rice bowl, tonkatsu, and cold noodles are also really good ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿœ. This time we arrived at 5:30 p.m. and still waited about 30 minutes โ€” the place is always packed, but tables turn over quickly. Service is friendly and efficient. Iโ€™m usually too busy eating to take nice photos (most of my pics are half-eaten and blurry ๐Ÿ˜…), but this time I finally managed a few decent shots ๐Ÿ“ธ. ๐Ÿ’ฐ Price per person: Around $30โ€“70 For the freshness and portion size, itโ€™s totally worth it. #SushiHana #Detroit #AnnArborFood #DetroitFood #AnnArborLife #DetroitLife #ImmersiveJapaneseFood #StudentEats #AnnArborExploration #UniversityOfMichigan ๐Ÿš—
