I've just come back from Atlanta, and I really have a lot to say… 🏟😅
1⃣ Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park 🏛️ This is the birthplace of Martin Luther King Jr. You can visit his former residence and the church, and learn about the history of the American civil rights movement. It's incredibly meaningful. 2⃣ Atlanta History Center 📚 If you want to understand the history of Atlanta, this is the best place to go. Besides the rich exhibitions, there's also the beautiful Smith Family Garden, which is perfect for a leisurely stroll. 3⃣ Children’s Museum of Atlanta 👶🏻 This is a must - visit place if you're bringing kids to Atlanta. The interactive exhibits and various hands - on activities can keep the kids entertained all day long! 4⃣ Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum 📖 Here, you can learn about the life and political career of Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States. The exhibits in the library and museum are rich in content and highly educational. 5⃣ Little Five Points 🎸 This is the most bohemian neighborhood in Atlanta. It's filled with independent shops, vintage stores, and art galleries, as well as many delicious restaurants and cafes. 6⃣ Eastside Trail (part of the Atlanta BeltLine) 🚴♂️ This is one of the most popular walking and cycling routes in Atlanta. Along the way, you'll find lots of street art, restaurants, and relaxation areas. It's great for both relaxation and exercise. 7⃣ Piedmont Park 🌳 This is the largest park in downtown Atlanta. It's perfect for picnics, dog - walking, and taking a walk. In spring and autumn, there are also various festivals and markets. 8⃣ Senoia 📸 This small town is famous for the American TV series "The Walking Dead". Many scenes from the show were filmed here. Fans definitely shouldn't miss it! 9⃣ Diamond Hill Mine 💎 If you're interested in panning for gold, you can come here to dig for your own treasures. It's a fun experience for the whole family.
