Tatte has finally opened in Fairfax! We were so excited that the four of us woke up early and ordered six different brunch items—and not a single one disappointed! By the time we left, we were practically in a carb coma. 🥴 Pistachio Latte – Absolutely incredible! Rich nutty flavor, not too sweet, and you can even taste the finely crushed pistachios. Loved it so much that I also grabbed a pistachio croissant to go—and even asked if they sell pistachio paste! 🥐☕ Lamb Meatball Shakshuka – A rich tomato base with a slight tang, perfectly balanced by the runny egg and cool yogurt sauce. The lamb wasn’t too gamey, which I really appreciated. Served with bread—it was tangy, savory, and super refreshing! 🍅🐑 Corn & Spinach Shakshuka – A creamy, veggie-forward option with a hint of cumin. Also served with bread and so generous in portion that my friend wanted to take leftovers home! 🌽🍳 Croque Madame – Buttery croissant with ham, melted cheese, and a perfect runny egg, all topped with Mornay sauce. Each bite was pure satisfaction—we even ordered two! 🥪🍳 Smoked Salmon Avocado & Egg Sandwich – Silky scrambled eggs, creamy avocado, and lightly smoked salmon—a perfectly balanced, fresh, and satisfying combo. 🥑🍣 Egg in the Hole – The sesame Jerusalem bagel reminded me of savory Chinese baked bread! Served with a light salad, it felt like a tasty, upgraded breakfast sandwich from back home. 🥯🥗 We left super full and even had leftovers—the shakshuka portions are huge!
