I Tried Almost Everything on the Menu at This Hawaiian Restaurant 🍥

I’ve had this place on my online wishlist for ages, just waiting to check it off. The store’s opening hours are so laid back, only open three days a week. Finally, after watching a Hawaiian babymoon video by the Tennessee couple, I couldn’t resist and made a dash for it in the afternoon. I ordered almost everything on the menu in one go! Everything except the chili bbq salmon, which the boss accidentally missed, was devoured.🥥 Mixplate with fried chicken, garlic shrimp, and spicy tuna: The fried chicken was delicious, the garlic shrimp was slightly less impressive than the local Hawaiian version but still tasty, and the spicy tuna was just okay.🌺 Poke bowl with Ahi, spicy salmon, and bbq salmon; the spicy salmon was super excellent, fresh with a hint of spice, the Ahi was good but had a strong ginger flavor, and the bbq salmon was missed, but the boss promised a larger portion next time!🍽️ Manoa Dip with wonton chips: The wonton skins were fried to perfection!!! The dip sauce was incredibly delicious 😋 The salads and mac salads were very similar to the local Hawaiian taste. For dessert, the Suafa’i banana coconut pudding with sago is a must-try. It may not look appetizing, but it’s very refreshing. I also bought Pineapple cake and Guava cake 🍰 The guava cream was very unique. 💰 I got a bag full of food, and the average cost per person was $35, very satisfying 😌 To my surprise, I found out that next door is a Hunan cuisine restaurant I loved during my student days! Next time, I’ll order from both places!!! #BostonWeekend #BostonFoodAndFun #Food #FoodRecommendations #FoodSharing #FoodDiary #WhatToEatInBoston #WhereToEatInBoston #BostonEats #WhatToEatAroundBoston #WhatToEatOnTheWeekendInBoston #BostonEats #BostonHiddenGems #BostonHiddenRestaurants
