Iceland Food Guide (Continued)

✨Frista Food Truck near Arnarstapi Cliff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered fish & chips and quesadilla (ISK 5,700) This food truck boasts a perfect 5.0 Google rating. Generous portions at great value - same meal would cost ~ISK 7,000 in restaurants. Their fish is uniquely crusted with cornflakes (not batter), resulting in firm, flavorful flesh. You can substitute regular fries for sweet potato fries. The quesadilla is a must-try - stuffed with ingredients and oozing with stretchy cheese. ✨Brauð & Co in Reykjavik ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Got a croissant and cinnamon roll (ISK 1,370) Perhaps my expectations were too high. While not bad, they were quite ordinary. The croissant lacked crispness and distinct layers. Many rave about their crispy-soft cinnamon rolls, but mine had just average texture. ✨Famous Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur Hot Dog Stand ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered 2 hot dogs and drinks (ISK 1,760) A decent hot dog - good but not extraordinary. Features fried onions (common where I'm from, so not special). Worth trying given its convenient location near the shopping street and affordable price. ✨Svarta Kaffið (Famous Bread Bowl Soup) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had lamb soup in bread bowl + drink (ISK 4,200) No menu needed - just choose between lamb or vegetable soup. They serve it in a hollowed-out bread loaf (too big to finish). The soup itself is standard Icelandic lamb soup - nothing exceptional. ✨Sali Thai near Sky Lagoon ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered green curry and tom yum soup (ISK 4,707) Craving Asian food after soaking in the lagoon, we chose this authentic Thai spot just 6 minutes away. The tom yum was excellent and authentic, while the green curry was average # Reykjavik#Sali Thai Restaurant#Svarta Kaffið#Brauð & Co#food#travel guide#Island
