If You Could Only Have One Meal in Rome…
✨It has to be Taverna Ripetta! I wanted to check it out during my last visit to Rome, but unfortunately, it was closed for the weekend. The owner of this restaurant is a sweet grandmother who chats with every table of guests. I originally wanted to order squid ink pasta, but it was off the menu. When I casually mentioned how much I wanted it, she went out of her way to prepare a special squid ink risotto for me. I was so touched! ✨This place is small, but every corner is beautifully decorated. You can truly feel the owner’s care in every detail, and every dish I ordered was delicious. After eating a lot of ham with cheese in Italy, I was surprised by their pairing of ham with cantaloupe—such a refreshing combination of salty and sweet! The table for two felt a bit cramped, but the owner thoughtfully added a small wooden table on the side for the dishes, which was just adorable. ✨There’s also a fun aspect to their desserts called "daily proposals of our chef," meaning the dessert changes every day based on what the chef decides. Today, I had the caramel pudding, and it was fantastic! Be sure to make a reservation on TheFork, as it gets completely packed during lunch hours. If you visit Rome, I hope you get to experience this delicious and warm restaurant! #RomeFoodRecommendation #RomeFoodSpot
