Ilili in DC - My Second Visit Just for THIS Dessert! 🍮✨

Back in DC for visa renewal, and I couldn’t resist returning to Ilili for my all-time favorite dessert—the legendary MOUHALABIYYEH! 🇱🇧🥛 If you’ve ever fallen in love with milk pudding from Japanese convenience stores, you’ll understand why this Lebanese version is an absolute revelation. It’s simply… the god of all puddings. 👑💖 I’m not a fan of the candied orange zest on top, so I skip it—and without it, I could easily finish two full portions of this silky, dreamy delight! 😍🍽️ Also delicious: the Duck Shawarma (photo 2)! 🦆🥬 Tender duck dipped in sweet sauce, wrapped in fresh lettuce, and eaten in one big bite—pure dopamine explosion! 💥🤤 Their grilled meats, hummus, and baklava are also totally on point—every bite is a joy! 🥙🧆 P.S. I’ve heard about the hygiene issues at Ilili’s New York location… but the pudding is so heavenly, I’m choosing blissful ignorance this time. 🙈💫 Have you tried Ilili’life-changing milk pudding?
