Interesting Museums in San Juan

✅Museo de Las Américas: Located near Castillo San Felipe del Morro in a massive former military barracks building, this attraction deserves a spot on any Old San Juan itinerary. 🌈The museum features fascinating exhibits across eight gallery spaces, though only five were open during my visit. ✅They cover a remarkably diverse range of themes, with the exhibition on indigenous peoples of Latin America leaving the strongest impression on me. 🌝Currently, construction is underway inside the building, and during my visit, the noise and dust were quite noticeable. There's a minimal admission fee, reduced to $4.00 for children and seniors. The brief but productive life of Felipe Lettersten is commemorated here. 🌿His authentic bronze sculptures, accompanied by bilingual descriptions in Spanish and English, took me on a captivating journey through indigenous cultures. 🍁In another hall, vibrant paintings provided delightful visual entertainment. #SanJuan #Museum #CulturalJourney
