Inuyama Castle π°πΈ
The national treasure, Inuyama Castle, may only have its main keep (tenshu-kaku) remaining from the existing structures, π°πΈ but it is the oldest among the 12 existing castle keeps from Japan's Edo period. πΏπ From Meitetsu Inuyama Station, it's a 20-minute walk to the castle, π°πΈ located below which are Haritaka Shrine and Sanko Inari Shrine. π€οΈπ³ Pass through the torii gate of the Inari Shrine and climb up the stairs, followed by another uphill path. π°πΈ The admission fee to enter the main keep is 550 yen, and you can purchase tickets at the vending machine using Alipay. π«π± You must remove your shoes to enter the main keep, and staff will provide plastic bags to carry your shoes with you. ποΈ π°πΈ It's much smaller than Himeji Castle, with stairs that are still very steep. Climb to the top and take a walk around to enjoy the distant views. π°πΈ You can finish exploring in about 20 minutes. ππ #InuyamaCastle π°πΈ
