Irvine Food — TOP Picks Collection!!! 🍽️

Spent the whole winter break at my friend’s place in Irvine — they took me to all the best spots! Here are the highlights: ☀️ Meizhou Dongpo Peking duck portion was generous. Solid choice for classic Chinese dishes — great for group dinners. ☀️ Yuk Dae Jang Irvine Flavor leans salty, but the beef is super tender. The pumpkin in the stew was my favorite — perfect over rice! ☀️ BCD Tofu House A famous Irvine Korean spot. The banchan (side dishes) are delicious — kimchi, tofu, grilled fish, and my favorite: spicy crispy cucumber. Usually order C1 & C2, plus mild tofu soup with white rice. ☀️ Spice Palace Hot Pot Missed Ningbo-style spicy frog legs? This frog hot pot isn’t too spicy — great for mild spice lovers. You can also cook other ingredients in the broth — haven’t seen this in Boston! ☀️ Gyutan Tsukasa First time trying — beef tongue was incredibly tender. Eight pieces was just right. Must drink the soup — it makes the rice go down easier, otherwise it can be a bit dry. ☀️ Jollibee Not oily fried chicken — comes in spicy (with a flag 🌶️) and regular. Totally different vibe compared to Korean BBQ fried chicken. The passionfruit juice is refreshing, but skip if you don’t like sweet drinks. #Irvine #IrvineEats #Foodie #IrvineFoodGuide #CaliforniaFood #Travel #California 🍜
