Irvine Has Delicious Korean Food Too—Not Just Ktown! 😋
Before, every trip to LA meant a mandatory visit to Ktown 🚗💨. But this time, since I was staying in Irvine and didn’t want to deal with downtown traffic just for a meal, I decided to try Korean food here instead—and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise! 🥘 Spicy Stir-Fried Squid Rice + Cheese This dish was HUGE—enough for two people on its own! Every bite had tender squid, and the stretchy melted cheese made it even more delicious 🧀✨. You can choose your spice level, so even if you can’t handle heat, you’re good to go! 🍗 Butter Garlic Fried Chicken Wings The size of these wings shocked me—each one was enormous and coated generously in savory garlic butter sauce 🧄🧈. Super crispy on the outside, surprisingly fluffy and juicy inside. Fair warning: they’re rich, so two per person is plenty! 😅 🌯 Chanchan Special Kimbap By this point, I was already full from the squid rice, but this colorful kimbap was too pretty to skip 🌈! It was tasty and well-balanced—great for cutting through richer flavors if you order heavier dishes. Plus, their side dishes were delicious—pickled cucumbers and peppers were especially refreshing and appetizing! 🥒🌶️ All three dishes came to just over $60 and were enough for two full meals! And since it’s super close to Omomo Tea, you can grab boba on your way out—perfect wrap to the meal! 🍹😆 📍 Chanchan 14250 Culver Dr, Irvine, CA 92604 #TravelEats #WeekendFoodTour #LocalFavorites #WhereLocalsEat #FoodOnTheGo #HotMeals
