Irvine Noodle Lover’s Heaven 🍜 This Xi'an Feast Hits the Spot!
Went with friends to a Xi'an-style restaurant in Irvine—truly a noodle lover's paradise! They have a wide variety of noodle dishes, and each one is memorable. 🍜 Triple Combo Mixed Noodles (Oil-Spiced + Fried Sauce + Tomato & Egg) Unexpectedly delicious! All three flavors mixed together—no clash, just harmony. Perfect for indecisive eaters! We chose mild spice but it had quite a kick. Sauce was generous—got a little addictive toward the end. 🥙 Roujiamo (Chinese Burger) The cured meat version was on the fatty side, with noticeable richness. Personally preferred the cumin stir-fried meat version—more fragrant and noticeably spicy (uses jalapeño peppers). 🥟 Sour Soup Dumplings The broth is tangy but not sharp—goes down smoothly. Dumpling filling was tender with a hint of sweetness. The soup also had tiny dried shrimp. 🥒 Liugu Cold Skin Noodles Refreshing and not spicy—great paired with side dishes. 🍢 They also have boiled tripe and tofu skin skewers Wanted to try both, but tripe was sold out that day. The tofu skin was topped with a thick layer of sesame paste—so aromatic. Haven’t eaten this much carbs in a while—so satisfying 😌. 📍 Six Alley 2 Hutton Centre Dr #201, Santa Ana, CA 92707 #LAEats #LAFoodFinds #ChineseComfortFood #StickySatisfying #CarbsMakeMeHappy
