Is Seattle a culinary paradise thanks to Kin Len?
A friend strongly recommended this Thai restaurant, Kin Len, in Seattle’s Fremont area 🥣据说 it’s the pinnacle of all shrimp Thai meals they’ve had during their dating days (and it’s among the best Asian cuisine in Seattle overall). And it’s super cost-effective! 💰 The must-order, a huge pot of beef Hot Pot Everything, is just $22.25🔪. The beef and beef tendons inside are very bouncy and flavorful. We chose to add rice noodles into the pot, but it’s still great with a bowl of rice🍚. This large pot is filled with very tender beef brisket, tripe, beef balls, beef tendons, and everything. Plus, you can add another bowl of rice noodles. The braised beef flavor is pronounced and a bit sweet, which is right up my alley as a southerner from China. We also ordered six drinks🍸 to accompany the hot pot, and it was very satisfying: ✔️ Firework ✔️ Full Moon ✔️ Lychee Kapong 👇🏻 Here are some dishes I recommend: 🐔 Spicy Bomb Wings with Sticky Rice - The wings are huge, and you get four in a serving. Don’t order too many. 🐮 Grilled Beef Tongue - A must-order 🦐 HH Prawn - The grilled shrimp is very tender 🥦 Fry Crispy Pork Belly with Chinese Broccoli - This crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli is a strong recommendation, especially with rice! 💵 Cost We ordered two more drinks🥃 later. Without the alcohol, the bill for four people was about $90🔪. The value for money is truly great. We didn’t finish it all and took the leftovers home for lunch the next day. 🍲 Reservations The restaurant doesn’t take reservations⏰. We arrived at 5 pm, and the place was already quite full. We waited for about 10 minutes to get in. Apparently, there’s a wait of up to an hour during peak dining times. When we finished and came out, there was indeed a long line outside… 🚗 Parking Street parking is available🅿️.
