I absolutely love visiting (and gently bothering) the cute little creatures of nature! 😍 Moss Landing State Beach is truly a TOP-tier spot for observing sea otters, sea lions, seals, and a variety of seabirds! 🦦🐦 You can paddle up close to these adorable animals on a kayak—though for safety (and their comfort), it’s best to keep a respectful distance. We went on a Sunday and were able to rent a kayak on the spot—no wait! 🚣♀️ Only guided tours require advance booking. There are two types of kayaks available: • Sit-on-Top Kayak: More affordable—$95 for a double. Options for solo, double, or triple. • Closed-Deck Kayak: Pricier—$150 for a double. Also offers solo options.
