It doesn’t quite feel like Texas, USA—there’s a European

✨A Day Trip to Newman’s Castle We set off for a day trip today, heading to Newman’s Castle. It’s a one-hour drive northwest from Houston.🌾🌾 🎁🎁This is not a public attraction—tickets must be purchased at Newman’s Bakery, a breakfast shop in the nearby town. After getting your tickets, drive another 10 minutes to the castle. There’s a castle-shaped sign marking the entrance, so don’t miss it!🐵🐵 The castle opens at 10:30 AM and closes at 1:00 PM, and it’s closed on Sundays. If you miss the opening hours, you’ll have to come back the next day.💞💞 Admission is $20 per person. Advanced phone reservations aren’t required, but they are recommended.😃😃 🐟The castle’s owner, Newman, had a lifelong “castle dream” and built this castle with his own hands. It’s a real, fully functional castle, complete with a drawbridge, a trebuchet, a bell tower, a great hall, a chapel, and a watchtower—every detail, inside and out, is truly castle-like.😚😚 🎇🎇The castle also offers interactive activities: you can experience “torture devices” in the torture chamber or ring the big bell in the bell tower. Kids can join a game to find toy dragons and earn a dragon stamp as a reward.😚 🙈🙈Included with your ticket is a lunch of a drink and a sandwich, which can be collected from the kitchen.🐔 #Houston #HoustonLife #HoustonTravel #MedievalCastle #CastleDream #Houston #HoustonDayTrips #HoustonGuide
