Italian Ambiance and Cuisine

📍La Cucina di Ivo 🥩We discovered this Italian restaurant full of warmth in San Juan. 🍋The owner, Eva, personally welcomed us. Hearing it was our first visit, she brought out three types of pasta for us to sample: the seafood squid ink pasta hid a whole squid inside, the tomato and basil pasta used herbs grown in their backyard, and the most delightful surprise was the combination of cheese and tomatoes—fresh, tangy, and sweet tomatoes paired with rich, creamy cheese. This super delicious dish was refreshing and appetizing. 🧀The seafood salad appetizer was piled high, with tender shrimp and octopus pieces marinated in lemon and olive oil, light and invigorating. The main course of seared scallops, larger than coins, was elevated with a lemon chili sauce. 🥑Though the space is spacious, the soft candlelight and the gentle hum of Italian folk songs gave each table a sense of privacy. 🍮When we settled the bill, Eva even gifted us homemade limoncello, served in delicate little glass cups. #SanJuan #ItalianCuisine #CondadoEats
