Italy Rome | Must-Try Food: Nannarella
Nannarella Trastevere: An Unexpected Pasta Paradise Business Hours: 11:30am – 11:30pm Daily We originally planned to eat at the super popular Tonnarello, but were scared off by the long queue. Unexpectedly, we wandered into its next-door neighbor, Nannarella Trastevere—and it turned out to be the most amazing pasta experience we had in Italy! 🍝 On the first day, we ordered the classic Carbonara, and it blew our minds instantly. The creamy aroma and cheese blended perfectly, with a smooth and non-greasy texture—rich but not heavy. We were totally won over! It was so delicious that we came back the very next day for a second visit. This time, we tried the Tomato Basil Bacon Spaghetti: tangy, fresh, and bursting with tomato flavor. It was a totally different style but just as amazing! 😋 We also ordered a pizza that day, but the portion was so generous that the two of us (with small appetites) couldn’t finish it. Even so, every bite showed how genuine the ingredients were. The best part? The service was incredibly thoughtful and friendly, making the dining experience top-notch. No wonder so many locals bring their whole families here for meals—the atmosphere is lively and warm! 👨👩👧👦 It wasn’t until our second visit that we realized this restaurant is also super famous. They even have a whole area dedicated to large groups, but the two of us only had to wait a little while to get a table. We were so lucky! ✨ Plus, the cover charge is only €2.50—really affordable for Rome. We ate happily without breaking the bank! If you’re in Rome and want to try a pasta restaurant with authentic ingredients and great service, don’t miss this one. The Carbonara is a must-order! We’ve already decided we’ll come back again on our next trip to Rome. ❤️ #HiddenGemRestaurant #RomeFood #MustEatInRome #PastaHeaven #Italy #RomeRestaurantRecommendations #RomeRestaurantReview
