Jônt – A Michelin Star Experience with Real Vibe in DC 🌟🍽️

I heard DC has two famous two-Michelin-starred spots, so I randomly picked Jônt for my first try! After booking, I checked social media and got a bit nervous—everyone said it was too salty 😅 And yes, it’s definitely on the saltier side… but as someone who loves bold flavors, I really enjoyed it! If you prefer lighter tastes, maybe try the other Michelin spot 👀 The vibe was so lively from the moment we stepped in—great background music 🎶 It didn’t feel like a super formal dinner; it was more like an omakase-style counter seating. Each guest had their own server who chatted with us (even gave restaurant recommendations in Baltimore! 🦀). The dish presentations were full of ceremony too 🎩✨ It’s labeled as Japanese-French fusion, but honestly, it felt more like Chinese-French fusion to me…? (The highest praise for Western food from me is: “It tastes like Chinese food!” 😂) I wanted to try the non-alcoholic drink pairing, but didn’t have time this visit—so I ordered a cocktail instead 🍸 It was surprisingly delicious! Usually fine dining cocktails are just okay… but this one was mixed right in front of me—so cool! Had to leave after the main course to catch a flight ✈️ but heard the desserts are amazing too If you can handle rich & salty flavors—highly recommend! I’d definitely go back 🥰 Oh, and the lighting is perfect for selfies 📸💖 #Foodie #FrenchCuisine #FineDining #RestaurantRecommendation #WashingtonDC #DC #MichelinDC #MichelinStar #TwoStarMichelin #OmakaseVibes #DateNightDC #FoodExperience #DiningInStyle #DCFoodScene #SpecialOccasion #CocktailLove #FoodPhotography #UpscaleDining #JontDC
