To prevent enemies from attacking from behind, Ukita redirected the Asahikawa River to flow east of the castle. 📍 Himeji Castle Located in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, this castle is also known as the White Heron Castle because its white exterior walls resemble the feathers of a white heron. It's one of Japan's most symbolic and well-preserved castles. 📍 Kagoyama Garden Beautiful all year round, especially when the cherry blossoms🌸 are in bloom.
