Japanese Curry Chicken and Pork Cutlet in Plano, Dallas

This place is really delicious! It offers very authentic Japanese casual dining. There were at least two tables of Japanese customers, and both the owner and the waitstaff spoke Japanese, which shows how authentic this place is! Tokyo Shokudo โค๏ธ 4709 W Parker Rd #440, Plano, TX 75093 ๐ŸŒˆ๐ŸŒˆ Main Dishes Include: โœ… Donburi (Rice Bowls) - with options like chicken, pork, beef, seafood, and choices between fried or grilled. โœ… Curry Rice - similar options as above. โœ… Bento Boxes, Side Dishes, Mochi Ice Cream, etc. There are quite a few mix - and - match options, and you can also add on items like pork cutlet, chicken cutlet, and squid to enrich your meal. โค๏ธ Before ordering, they bring a small bowl of edamame (soybeans) - such a nice touch! ๐Ÿ‘Œ Today, I ordered the Pork Cutlet Curry Rice with an additional fried chicken cutlet. The pork cutlet curry rice is $17.99, and adding a chicken cutlet is $4.99. It was actually enough for two people to share. ๐Ÿ˜… In the end, I took half of each (pork and chicken cutlets) home as leftovers. Their curry deserves special praise - it has just the right amount of saltiness, perfect for mixing with rice or dipping meat. Itโ€™s not overly salty, and thereโ€™s just a slight hint of heat, but itโ€™s not overpowering. You donโ€™t need to drink water in between bites. The pork cutlet was so fragrant, especially with the egg coating - it was incredibly tender! The chicken cutlet was also great - very crispy and lightly salted, allowing you to taste the chicken flavor. I enjoyed it with the curry sauce. #DallasLife #DallasExplore #Tonkatsu #CurryRice #StudentEats #ChickenCutlet
