Jincook’s New Location 🌟 Yorba Linda’s Only Korean Restaurant!

Back in the US 🇺🇸 and catching up with friends — we chose the newly opened Korean spot in Yorba Linda. First, a shoutout: since first trying this place in 2023, ‼️ Prices haven’t increased at all ‼️ and portions haven’t secretly shrunk. So refreshing! 🥹 Here’s what we ordered (my usual favorites): • Spicy Braised Beef Short Rib with Cheese 🌶️ A classic Korean restaurant must-order — a big pot of ribs + cheese for just $62! The beef is fall-apart tender, the sauce is rich and thick, super fragrant and not greasy at all 😋 • B.B.Q Galbi Beef Rib 🥩 Today’s winner 🥇 The ribs are incredibly tender with a hint of char. Marinated in advance — slightly sweet and savory, perfect with rice! (We were even fighting over the leftovers on the way home 😂) • Specialty Katsu Curry Rice 🍛 Stone pot rice with curry sauce + your choice of two fried items (pork/chicken/fish cutlet). The portion is huge‼️ Would be even better with some sides. • Beef Short Rib Soup 🍲 Both my friend and I agreed — way fresher and richer than SND’s soup. A true gem! We also tried a bottle of lychee-flavored MAAT Soju — sweet, fruity, with a light fizz — so refreshing and great for cutting through the richness of BBQ. (The theatrical mask bottle is pretty photogenic too 📸) As YL’s only Korean soul food spot, Jincook is definitely worth a visit. The interior has major K-drama vibes — tiled eaves and neon signs give off cozy, lively energy. One downside: it just opened a month ago and is already packed 🔥 Expect a wait during weekend dinner hours. Lastly, big thanks to manager Sungmin for the warm welcome 🥺 He greeted us in fluent Chinese — totally took me by surprise! During our chat, he shared that this is a mother-and-son-run restaurant — mom oversees all the sauces and flavors to keep things authentic. No wonder everything tastes so amazing! They have other locations in LA too — consistent quality, so you can dine with confidence! That’s all for today — thanks for reading 💖 More international travel + food adventures coming soon . . . #LAKoreanFood #LAExplorer #LALife #YorbaLinda #OC #LosAngeles #NewRestaurant #FamilyRun
