Kaliningrad Ultimate | Downtown Edition ⛱️

What a romantic and cozy place! 🏜️ We flew from St. Petersburg ✈️ to Kaliningrad (2-hour flight). Round-trip tickets were bought on Ozon. Taxi 🚖 to the hotel: 400-500 RUB, 20+ mins (for reference). Kaliningrad is 1 hour ahead of St. Petersburg. Arrived at 3 PM local time 🕒. 🏨 Homestay: I’ve included a screenshot at the end – highly recommended! 👍🏻 The host was super nice, security was great, and the guard was friendly. All attractions are within walking distance. Day 1⃣️ 🕔 Headed to Fish Village (рыбная деревня) around 4-5 PM 🌟 First stop: BbI достойны настоящего хлеба 🌟 Everything is delicious! Must-try: chocolate 🍫 and hazelnut 🌰 desserts sold by weight! Königsberg Cathedral (Kafedralni sobor) 🌟 Attended a concert 🎵 Ticket: 500 RUB / Student: 200 RUB Buy tickets at sobor39.ru 📲 Go early to get a good seat! The cathedral is beautiful ⛪️ – close your eyes and feel the music! Strolled around Fish Village – it’s small but charming. Tried egg tarts at Konigsbacker 🌟 – worth a taste! Dinner at Maдам буше 🌟 🗺️ Oktyabrskaya Street, 2А, 236006 • Маяк, этаж 1, 2, 3 All within walking distance! Make a reservation in advance! Amazing atmosphere, super photogenic 📸, perfect for sunset views – so romantic and relaxing! Food was great too~ Lighthouse 🌟 Climb up for photos – 100 RUB, panoramic city views! Day 2⃣️ 🏛️ Downtown Attractions: Victory Square 🌟 Cathedral of Christ the Savior 🌟 World Ocean Museum 🌟 Brandenburg Gate 🌟 Amber Museum 🌟 Rossgarten Gate 🌟 ✅ The nuclear submarine outside the Ocean Museum is worth a visit! ✅ The Amber Museum was just okay – don’t buy amber inside! ✅ Hunt for the 7 hidden bronze dwarfs (Khomlins) 🧝♂️ 🚴 Riding e-scooters 🛴 is super convenient! 🛍️ Boutique Store: Барахольщик (Leninskiy Avenue 15) 🌟 Bought an amber fridge magnet for 250 RUB 🧲 – staff were super friendly! 🍽️ Restaurants: July 🌟 Beautiful lakeside restaurant! Very photogenic and relaxing ~ Food was delicious – sit outside if you don’t mind the wind! Stories (про печь) 🌟 Everything on the menu is 399 RUB – cheap and tasty! Nice decor too. Also recommended: Zotle, Cult, Тётка Фишер – try them if you’d like! 🌸 The streets are filled with beautiful people in summer dresses – romantic, free, and slow-paced.
