Kamikochi

Kamikochi 🌸🌺🌿🍃 Nestled in the upper reaches of the Azusa River, surrounded by the Hōtoku Mountains, Yakedake, and the Nyūdō mountain range, Kamikochi is a small basin at an altitude of about 1500 meters. 🏞️ It belongs to the Chūbu-Sangaku National Park and is a renowned scenic spot (note that it is closed from mid-November to mid-April each year). ⚠️🌄 I highly recommend walking from Kappa Bridge to Myōjin Pond; it's truly a beautiful journey. 🌉💧 🚌 In the evening, take a bus from "Kamikochi Bus Center" to "Takayama Hida Bus Center" and stay in Takayama City. 🏙️🚍 #OffTheBeatenPath #WeekendGetaway 🌸🍃
