Kid-Friendly Outing - California Science Center πŸš€πŸŒŒ

The California Science Center is a perfect spot for a family day out with kids. Before heading out, check the current IMAX movie listings on their official website. They currently have Blue Whales 3D, Cities of the Future 3D, Deep Sky, and more. My child is most interested in space knowledge, so he chose "Deep Sky." I have to say, these short films are incredibly emotive and stimulating to children's curiosity. 🌠 The center features an ecosystem exhibition, as well as sections dedicated to sea, land, and air. On the space front, there are models at a 1/5 scale, a sky simulator, a simulated rocket launch control console, fighter jets, and more. πŸ›°οΈ Parking πŸ…ΏοΈ Parking is convenient and costs $20. It's recommended to arrive early to get a good spot, and then visit the nearby Natural History Museum as well. Exhibitions/IMAX Tickets 🎟️ While entry to the Science Center itself is free, you'll need to purchase tickets for IMAX or special exhibitions. Note that all ticket purchases must be made before 3:30 PM on the day of your visit. Special Exhibition of the Year: Leonardo da Vinci πŸ–ŒοΈβš™οΈ The special exhibition featuring Leonardo da Vinci is one of the highlights of the year (you can see ads for it everywhere on lampposts). The exhibition includes models of da Vinci's iconic fantastical machines and graphic replicas, allowing visitors to experience how the master integrated art and science, as well as his mastery of music and engineering, in his works, giving a sense of the Renaissance period. IMAX Movie πŸŽ₯ We watched the IMAX movie "Deep Sky," which takes us on a 13-billion-year journey through the universe through the lens of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). The film not only tells the story of the manpower and resources spent on building this high-risk global mission and launching it into an orbit a million miles from Earth but also showcases the clearest and most profound images of the universe to date. #CaliforniaScienceCenter #LosAngelesLife #LAFamilyOuting #DayTrip #CapturingTheMoment #TravelScenery
