Kids Can See Broadway Shows For Free This February—And Yes, ‘Hamilton’ Is Included
Broadway is once again giving kids the best seat in the house–for free! The annual Kids’ Night on Broadway is officially returning to NYC on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, bringing back the beloved perk that lets anyone 18 and under attend select Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Now celebrating its 30th year, the program is a tried-and-true favorite and one of the easiest ways for families to score Broadway tickets this winter. This year, 18 shows are participating, with a lineup that spans Disney favorites, musicals, buzzy newcomers, and Broadway staples. Translation: Broadway tickets that won’t make your wallet cry. How Does Kids’ Night on Broadway Work? -------------------------------------- It’s simple ...which we love. The offer works like this: buy two tickets and get each 50% off. It’s everything we love about Broadway but budget-approved. Who’s Participating? -------------------- According to Playbill, this year’s Kids’ Night on Broadway lineup includes: * *Aladdin* * *& Juliet* * *Buena Vista Social Club* * *Chicago* * *Hamilton* * *Harry Potter and the Cursed Child* * *The Lion King* * *Moulin Rouge! The Musical* * *Operation Mincemeat* * *SIX: The Musical* * *Stranger Things: The First Shadow* * *Wicked* * *The Outsiders* * *The Great Gatsby* * *All Out: Comedy About Ambition* * *Maybe Happy Ending* * *Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)* As always, participating shows are subject to change –this *is* Broadway, after all. It’s Not Just About the Show ---------------------------- Kids’ Night on Broadway is more than just cozying into a seat and watching a show. Select performances will include talkbacks, sing-alongs, art activities, and Kids’ Night activity books, making it all feel extra special. And yes, in typical NYC fashion there are food deals, too. 16 Theatre District restaurants will offer exclusive Kids’ Night perks, including free kids’ meals with the purchase of an adult entrée. Participating spots include Ellen’s Stardust Diner, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe, and more. Bonus stop: The Museum of Broadway ---------------------------------- Theatergoers can also score 50% off admission to the Museum of Broadway, which will host a full day of games, trivia, and interactive experiences on Tuesday, February 24 from 9:30 am to 4 pm. How To Get Tickets ------------------ Tickets will go on sale at a later date. To be the first to know, you’ll want to sign up for The Broadway Fan Club online. Since launching in 1996, more than 200,000 kids and teens have attended Broadway shows through Kids’ Night on Broadway–and judging by this year’s lineup, February is looking like the perfect time to join them.
