Hard Rock Cafe — Restaurant in New York

It’s the first time that me and my wife visited this restaurant , and it’s so Disappointing OMG !!! First of all we waited more than Twenty minutes that they will call us to get a table ticket and then five to ten minutes until some waiter will take us to some dark cornered table , when we asked to change the place ? We had to wait more time !!! And then we had some rood waitress !!! So I’ll brake it one by one to you (1) Me and my wife on a keto died so we didn’t know what kind of food they serve , so we asked the waitress but apparently the waitress didn’t have no patience to us at all , we told her that we are in a keto diet and what kind of food she can recommend to us , so she had no knowledge at all what we are talking about or what kind of food we can order , so she just throw to us - Look in the menu and what you see is what you get sir !!! (2) the food that we got ? Came Surprisingly really fast after two minutes !!! We started to eat the salad and Three times in about five minutes ? my wife found human hair in the food !!! And then I paid attention that the waiters ? running to the customers taking an order , and then running to the kitchen and after two seconds coming out with the plaits full of food , are they service people with Long time maid food ? Or an old food ? Are they Recycle the food between customers ? Or they just make the food so really fast so they don’t pay attention at all , if the food is full of Human hair and other kind of trash inside !!! The taste of the food ? The shrimps smelled like some kind of disgusting smell !!! The salad was with , human hair inside !!! The Buffalo Chicken I ordered ? was Dry like some wood !!! And The water tasted so bad taste !!! So , I really tried to be polite and not to make Drama of it or to get upset but after my wife pulled out from her mouth human hair the third time ? I couldn’t shut up anymore and I called the shift manager , we showed him the human hair ? And he started to say to my wife maybe it’s your hair in there ? OMG !!! I just almost exploded on him !!! After a few minutes of argument ? He decided that he can’t go on with it ? Because I’m not a tourist that excited to eat in Hard rock Times Square !!! Or a stupid client that will eat dirty food and pay for it I’m a New Yorker that pay attention what I eat and what I pay for !!! So he told us that we don’t have to pay on the food !!! But who wanted to eat this kind of disgusting food after so many incidents ? We just left the rest of the food on the table and left the place !!! In the next one hour that we started to eat in this restaurant ? Me and my wife also felt like throwing up , 🤢🤢🤮🤮 and felt our stomach rumbling !!! I thought I’m gonna throw up in the middle of the ride in the train 🤢🤮 on the way back home to Long Island !!! Completely disappointing Restaurant !!! 👎👎👎 A Lot of show of for the tourists !!! A lot of shelves in the entrance with employees trying to push people to buy souvenirs !!! A lots of posing in this restaurant !!! But in the and ? You get a rotten / recycled disgusting food !!! 🤮🤮🤮

Hard Rock Cafe in New York left me with mixed feelings about this iconic establishment. While the rock 'n' roll ambiance and memorabilia were undeniably cool, the overall experience was marred by high prices and a noticeable air of what I can only describe as "tourist hostility."

Let's start with the positives. The Hard Rock Cafe is a shrine to music enthusiasts, adorned with an impressive collection of rock memorabilia that pays homage to legends of the industry. From guitars signed by iconic musicians to costumes and artifacts, the decor provides a visual feast for fans of rock history. The lively atmosphere and soundtrack of classic rock hits added to the overall vibe, creating an engaging environment for patrons.

However, the excitement dwindled when confronted with the menu and prices. The offerings, while decent, leaned heavily towards standard American fare, and the portion sizes didn't quite justify the high price tags. The cost of a meal at Hard Rock Cafe New York felt disproportionately expensive compared to similar establishments in the vicinity, leaving me with the impression that I was paying more for the brand than the culinary experience.

To add to the disappointment, the service could be accurately described as "tourist hostile." The staff seemed more interested in ushering guests in and out quickly, catering to the high volume of tourists, rather than providing a warm and welcoming experience. It felt as though the establishment prioritized turnover over customer satisfaction, leaving patrons with a sense of being rushed and undervalued.

Despite these drawbacks, it's essential to acknowledge that the Hard Rock Cafe New York still holds a special place in the hearts of many rock enthusiasts. The memorabilia and rock 'n' roll atmosphere contribute to a unique dining experience that, for some, may outweigh the downsides. However, for those seeking value for money and a more hospitable dining experience, exploring alternative dining options in the area might be a more satisfying choice. I was starving so I didn't take pics of the food. Imagine basic american dishes lol no frills.

We had an AMAZING experience! The atmosphere was great, staff were friendly, quoted about 35 minutes that we had to wait on a table but it went by fast. our waiter was awesome and attentive to us the entire time. The fact they had a live DJ was awesome and he kept the atmosphere booming with great music! We ordered the chicken strip appetizer (3 tiny strips and a couple pieces of celery isn't worth $17 but they were good), my husband and i both had the bone in ribeye meal and it was SOOO good. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were melt in your mouth delicious and buttery, and the salad was fresh. This place is also super clean and has lots of seating. The only complaint I have is there were a couple people that had just a few too many drinks so they were feeling fantastic lol they were dancing, having a good time. There was another guy in there at the same time they were that looked similar but very much different than the one guy dancing...the manager called the cops on the ones that were dancing - they were gone and the one that wasn't dancing ended up getting tossed out because they thought he was the one - Why call the cops on people that are dancing to begin with? They weren't causing trouble - they were having a good time. You don't know what they were going through that day or what kind of day they had, they were just trying to let loose, even the guy that got tossed out for no reason at all - he could have just lost his job and was in there taking a load off - let people live freely. if they want to dance the night away, let them! This upset me a bit to be honest because I enjoyed watching them dancing, for once they could have been living a happy moment they haven't gotten to experience in a long time, you never know!

But all in all, I would LOVE to come back again - next time we are in the area, I will be sure to stop by!
